This island is beautiful and great quality at a decent price. Is just what i needed for my studio apartment and provides me extra storage and counter space. Instructions were overall clear. Was not difficult to build but it did take me about 6 hours to put together because I did it alone. Would have been much easier if I had another pair of hands helping. It feels substantial and sturdy, and the shelving underneath gives us tons of extra storage. Assembly took about 2 hours with two people, but the instructions were straightforward and the finished product was definitely worth the time. It is not real wood, so I would be careful with the surface—I wouldn’t place hot pans directly on it or set drinks down without a coaster. That said, it looks and feels like a much more expensive piece of furniture once assembled. We are using ours as a homeschool craft and project table, and it is PERFECT for that! You can store various microwaves, toasters and plates and other kitchen utensils, and drawers can store some utensils and dinnerware that is easy to take at hand. In order to store some different-sized appliances, we have designed 2 3-level adjustable and movable shelves in the cabinet to meet your multi-functional storage needs.

We were pleasantly impressed by the build quality of this kitchen island. The Wayfair assembly tech was professional and assembled the island in good order. It will definitely meet our needs. This island is exactly what I was looking for. It did take quite a while to put together as I was building it by myself. The box also arrived heavily damaged (someone had either stepped on it or kicked it). As a result, one of the doors was cracked.
