In the shower, hip height is sufficient as a lower limit; there you should perhaps opt for the 24" wallbar or you could go for a 36" wallbar depending on your needs. It brings incredible amounts of freedom of movement, making it perfect for families with children and grandparents. To help ensure that the shower hose is a perfect length it is included along with many bars.

I ordered the 55" and I'm 5'5 and can fully stretch out my legs so huge plus! the curve on the back also seems very ergonomic, so I think this will be a very comfortable soaker! As far as quality, this thing seem solid. I wanted solid surface for the heat retention but bonus that this doesn't have any of the creaks/give that a fiberglass/acrylic tub has. Delivery was also very smooth, and my tub looks perfect (no marks, scratches, or other blemishes I've seen in other reviews). Ella Acrylic Walk-in Tubs are vacuum-formed from a solid, long-lasting acrylic sheet. Ella’s Capri Walk-In Tubs' main feature is the U-shaped outward Swing Door made with an industrial-grade durable plastic composite material with a decorative tempered glass front screen. A 3-latch door system creates a more secure door seal, providing you with a safe, leak-free bathing experience. The Capri comes with our unique Ella Dual Drain Technology (DDT) consisting of two 2” gravity-driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows, and 2 openers, allowing a fast, reliable drain. The Hydro Massage System includes a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, an eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, intensity dial control, and strategically positioned hydro jets. The Ella Capri has 15 strategically placed hydro jets: 9 upper fixed jets provide relief to your back, and hips/thighs, and 6 lower adjustable jets for your feet/calves. The Air Jet Massage System includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets, and an auto-purge maintenance system.
