This bed was perfect for my teenage son. The storage space, LED lights, and built-in USB ports in the headboard are great features and the lighting gives the room a modern, cool vibe. Although it says a box spring is needed, our 14 inch mattress worked perfectly without one. Assembly was a bit challenging, especially aligning the upholstered headboard, as the outline didn’t match up exactly. There were a couple of screws that did not fit in their holes. The headboard is also not quite as tall as it appears in the pictures. That said, the bed is very affordable, provides plenty of storage space underneath, and looks great once assembled.
