We just installed it as we owned our pool. The plug piece came with the thumbscrew piece broken when we received it. It didnt seem to be a big issue. But when we hooked everything up and pulled the plug from the pool so water could flow into the pump its leaking like a geyser. This image is showing the leak after we plugged the pill hose back up..
