Most rain barrels on the market don't fully utilize the water they hold because the spigot is located about halfway up the barrel. This allows buckets to be filled but leaves about a quarter of the water standing behind, which can be hazardous. Barrels with optimally located spigots don't allow room for filling buckets and leave hoses as the only option for drainage. The Rain Wizard Universal Stand solves these issues by lifting and supporting the rain barrel off the ground. This was even better looking than I thought it would be. It looks beautiful. However, customers should know that there is no opening for a diverter hose from a downspout. And there are no instructions for setting up other than the spigots. It seems like it is designed to just sit anywhere and gather rain, which would take forever. Great barrel that has a removable top. I daisy-chained two together and also put a 2 inch pipe connector in the second one to run water to a separate project. I've put soaker hoses on most of the brass spigots (not in this pic), and I obviously raised the barrels pretty high to maximize gravity for water pressure. Put these in two days ago and waiting for a good rain so I haven't seen them fill up yet. The good and the bad: The GOOD - 75 gallons, is sturdy, is attractive, basic design is excellent, excellent followup customer service. The BAD - product was shipped in a plastic bag allowing the spigot to be half-way torn away, spigot is lightweight. My solution: rather than exchange it for another with no guarantee it wouldn't be damaged during shipment I replaced the spigot and threaded section with a more substantial bulkhead union and a more robust spigot.
