So I make egg bites in the oven using cupcake molds and they come out very light and fluffy but it is a lot of work having to empty the oven heat it up cook and put stuff back in the over after so I decided to buy this because it looks super easy to use. it is very easy to use you take two of the little holders fill them with water and put water on the plate and then fill the holders with your egg mix and close it and you’re supposed to leave them till the water is evaporated. It works great it’s very easy. My only complaint is the egg bites are not light and fluffy like they are in the oven and I think that’s because they’re steamed I’ve put a picture of one after it’s been refrigerated And it’s definitely different than in the oven but the egg maker itself works great. I just need to get used to the difference between the oven and then steaming them more or less with this egg bite maker. This does make it so much easier to make breakfast in the morning as opposed to the night before when I use the oven. The cleanup is a breeze, and it is definitely much easier than the oven.. Martha. Came in this morning. I ran it all day to make sure it was stable. My temp and humidity were correct. I had some eggs to put in for trial run. I was so excited with how nice it is I went to the auction and got more eggs so I could fill her up. So far I have seen it rotating the eggs and it seems gentle. The only issue I had was setting up the pump for the humidity. You only need to cut one piece of tube to go into the water bottle and follow the diagram for how to wind the tube. It kept popping off for me but I realized you wrap it and then put the cover on it and the cover will hold that piece in place. It’s not hard I just made it hard in my mind. You do hear it running compared to my still air incubator but it’s like a refrigerator if you listen for it you will hear it. Turning the eggs makes noise but not enough to be a concern.
