I thought it would be a quick and easy assembly, but after 45 minutes, I realized I needed my husband's assistance. He unfortunately had to use a mallet to force the handle to lock onto the shovel. Overall, the construction, width of the shovel, and wheels work well as long as the snow is soft. The assembly experience was not good for me. I will only recommend this if it is on sale. I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? I accidentally sucked up a metal door stopper that had broken and I immediately stopped the machine and took it apart to find the piece. Found it…in the bag.
