I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This is an amazing vacuum for the price. I have a intex pool and a pine tree above it so it gets a lot of needles that sink to the bottom of the pool. Delivered on time. Shipping partner was supposed to call ahead so we didnt have a 300 pound box on our porch, but that isnt a fault of wayfair. Will update when we open the box and inspect the poo. Well.... we installed the pool (not east without like 6 people). Not as the greatest quality parts to put it together. Pump as already gone bad after 6 weeks of use.
