This is a really beautiful wool rug that is currently selling for almost three times as much under another brand. It is all that I hoped for. I know it is hard shopping for neutral colored rugs online, so I included a photo with a neutral undertone wheel in natural light for reference. The recessed parts of the rug have a slight green-beige cast, and the raised parts are a very light taupey cream variegated with a pink beige that looks like a light tint of a maroon brown in the darkest parts. I think it coordinates well with natural linen color and unbleached cotton as well as cool sandy tans or mocha and cocoa colored neutrals. It might look dirty next to yellowy creams or light tints of cool blue grays. I included a photo with a natural straw mat and a bamboo box to show how it would look next to light wood with a more yellow cast. I expected higher quality for the price I paid for a 9’ round carpet. I would have considered returning it but It was too big and bulky for me at 63 years old to try to repack it and carry it out to return. Update I should have listened to recent reviews. This rug sheds and threads pull so easily I’ll be lucky if it lasts a year. Pretty color, super disappointing quality for the price. Original It’s new so I’ll update agin in 30 days but I’m super happy with this! The blue is not as teal colored as other reviews and photos indicated, but is a true navy imo. It’s soft, edge went down immediately , and it’s a nice heavy weight. I will want a new rug pad but that’s just my preference for plushness. Really hope it lasts and shedding is temporary.. Michelle. I almost didn’t buy this rug because some reviews mentioned the gray accents were much more visible than the website photos. While the gray flecks are definitely present, I found them to be subtle and they read more as texture than stripes in my home. The ivory color brightened my living room and works beautifully with my neutral leather sectional, black media console, and marble coffee table. The rug feels soft underfoot and has a clean, modern look without being boring. If you’re looking for a pure ivory rug, this may not be for you.
