We've had this runner on steps + hallway in our multi-level house for a couple of years now. We like it so much we're going to buy the same one for a hallway on a different level. It is mostly tan/brown but has a grey overlay in places as well. So it looks great with both beiges and greys. It has the elegance of a border rug but the middle is mottled, so it doesn't show the scuffs and spills as does a traditional border rug with a solid coloured middle. The rug arrived very quickly and as represented in the vibrant burgundy/red, gold and navy blue. It looks great in our living room and matches the floor and my burgundy chair. I loved this rug so much, I purchased it 3 times! I purchased the runner for my hallway and 2 round ones for my bathrooms. This rug is great quality, thick, and well-made.
