We bought this 9 piece dining set for our new house. I like that it is small with 4 chairs when not expanded and can seat 8 when we have guests. It’s easy to expand and we like that the leaf is part of the table and we don’t need to find space to store it. It’s quite heavy and sturdy. I love the finish to look at but it does scratch easily. We use our bar stools for about every meal, so it doesn’t get a lot of use. I don’t think I’d recommend it to a young family as a main table though unless you view inevitable scratches and blemishes as character! It works for our situation though.. Deborah. Cincinnati, OH. We bought this set for our small Kitchen. We knew that we would have to assemble it once it arrived. So we pulled up the directions which were pretty clear. However, you definitely need more than the included allen wrench and recommended screw driver and hammer. We ended up needing a drill to get the screws in-otherwise we'd still be screwing in the screws! The Table was easy. However, our biggest issue was with the chairs. Every. Single. Chair. was uneven and wobbly. One more than another. We followed the instructions each and every time for each chair, and every single time we ended up with the same wobbly result.
