I received my Artificial Bonsai Tree with Lush Realistic Leaves, Faux Evergreen Plant In Decorative Pot earlier this afternoon, delivered by FEDEX ground delivery service. It looks quite nice and I have placed it outside next to my dragon and Japanese Lantern. When I received it and opened the shipping box, I found that several of the stones, that are glued to the base that fits into the decorative pot, had worked loose and were in the bottom of the shipping box but, I just scooped them out of the box and added them to the decorative pot and base. Not a big deal. I would likely buy other Bonsai Trees as they do look so realistic.. Deeanna. Alberta. Wed May 13 2026

Bring the taste of the tropics to your home garden with the Avocado Tree (Persea americana), a fast-growing, evergreen fruit tree prized for its rich, creamy fruit and lush, tropical appearance. Known for its glossy, deep green foliage and upright growth habit, the avocado tree adds year-round greenery and can be grown in the ground in warm climates or in large containers in cooler regions. With proper care, this tree will reward you with buttery avocados perfect for slicing, mashing, or adding to a variety of recipes. The tree typically develops a broad canopy and sturdy trunk, maturing into a beautiful landscape specimen. While it may take several seasons to produce fruit, the wait is well worth it. Avocados thrive in warm, frost-free climates, but they can also be grown indoors or in greenhouses where temperature and light can be controlled. A self-fertile variety will bear fruit on its own, though planting multiple trees can often increase yield. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, the Avocado Tree offers an enjoyable and rewarding growing experience for those who appreciate fresh, homegrown fruit and a tropical aesthetic in their outdoor space. The Monroe Avocado Tree is a late-season, cold-tolerant variety widely favored in Florida and the southeastern U.S. for its impressive fruit size, excellent shelf life, and smooth, creamy texture. This vigorous tree thrives in USDA Zones 911 and can tolerate temperatures as low as 26F when mature, making it one of the more cold-hardy options for growers in subtropical climates. Monroe trees have an upright growth habit and typically reach 25 to 30 feet in height, with a full, symmetrical canopy of dark green, glossy foliage that adds a lush, ornamental presence to any landscape. One of the most notable characteristics of the Monroe variety is its exceptionally large fruitoften weighing over two poundswith glossy green, slightly bumpy skin that stays green when ripe and is easy to peel. The flesh is pale green, firm, and low in fiber, with a rich, buttery consistency and mild, nutty flavor. Ripening in late fall through early winter, Monroe provides a valuable harvest window after many other avocado varieties have finished producing. As a Type B flowering variety, it also pairs well with Type A cultivars to boost pollination and yield. With its combination of cold resistance, heavy production, and high-quality fruit, the Monroe avocado is an ideal choice for home gardeners and commercial growers alike.
