This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. This is a quality product. It works perfectly and was easy to setup and to use. Recommend highly. We are using it to buy meat in bulk and portion out for our food storage. Also works great for vegetables and liquids. After using the vacuum sealers that simply suck air out of the bags, which won't work for liquids and always leaves air in the bag, this is a game changer.
