I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great. I purchased a burgundy area rug and runner for my bedroom & bath. The color is a very red burgundy and they are quite thin. With padding underneath they feel fine and serve their purpose in adding a cozy feel to the space. I got a sale price so I'm satisfied but would not have wanted to pay the regular full price.. Betty.
