Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. Because I ordered the black color, its probably more noticeable. Just something to note if ordering in black. Overall, Im so happy with my new water fountain!! Its adding so much to my peace!!. I love this Fountain however, about the plastic plug at the base of the bottom bowl tends to pop up and allow water to drain, my handyman was able to Jerry rig a system that holds the plug down so problem is solved but manufacturer should address. When assembled, some parts were a bit wobbly, requiring shims to balance things. Assembly instructions for this item were nonexistent. Only general care guidelines were given. I've got it assembled and working well...but...as others have indicated, the design of the plug in the bottom of the fountain, through which the power cord runs, is absurd. It comes with a bit of plumbers putty, which is supposed to create a waterproof seal around the cord, but doesn't stand a chance of doing so. You'll likely have to use silicone and it's a sloppy, messy application. This water fountain is very nice and looks beautiful once assembled. The finish is great, and it has a really pretty overall appearance. The water pump works well, and the fountain lights up at night, which makes it look even better. The only downside is that the instructions were extremely difficult to understand and did not make much sense. I would recommend looking up a similar assembly video online instead, because the paper instructions can be very confusing. Overall, it is a beautiful fountain and definitely worth it.. John.
