The warm white glow is soft but still bright enough for stairs, hallways, closets, or a bedroom at night. I use these on a staircase that has a turn and sometimes gets dark at the turned stairway. They have remained charged for a month and always come on and are triggered from a good distance. The wall sconces are very nice. They are manually adjustable from dim to bright. I also like that once they are plugged into the wall, the light will come on automatically when in darkness and turn off when the room brightens.
