The first chair took me forever to assemble, but I used it as a learning experience. I learned that I could have saved myself a ton of time if I had used the provided allen key with the red top (looks like a wine bottle opener), instead of the conventional one that was also provided. I also learned that I needed help from someone else for a few stages in the process because it saves a lot of time. Things went a lot smoother and faster when I put together the second chair. The salt air here is brutal on most outdoor furniture, but this material gives me confidence that they’ll hold up well over time. They also claim to have UV stabilization, which I’m hoping means that they will resist fading and maintain their appearance and durability through our long, hot, sunny days. In terms of construction, these chairs are impressively sturdy. They feel solid and well-made, with a generous size that makes them very comfortable to sit in. The listed 360-pound weight capacity seems believable given how strong they feel. Assembly was straightforward overall, but I would recommend paying close attention when attaching the seat. One section is slightly slanted, and if you don’t notice it, you may have to go back and redo it like I did. Hopefully you can learn from my mistake. Difficult to assemble. Some predrilled holes did not lineup properly. Backrest section did not fit properly into the 2 sidearm rest sections.
