After some time, the rattan surface will become the same color.

Beautiful sideboard. Easy to put together and very lightweight. The doors are flimsy though. One of it kept falling off. I had to put superglue in and that solved it. This piece is beautiful. The oak is furniture grade with clear grain. The joinery is tight. The brass hardware is nice and the finish keeps the natural look of the wood while still gleaming. The glass does rattle, but that is an easy fix. It was packed well and had no damage despite the outside of the box being beat up. The construction of the drawers is of a very soft wood, and the drawer bottoms are an odd split panel that I’m not a fan off (will be difficult to keep clean).
