Good basic island for a kitchen needing more counter and drawer space. Just like all the other reviews said, its incredibly short and about 6 inches shorter than our kitchen counters, so we plan to modify the legs to make it taller and maybe add doors to the bottom for extra cabinet space. The open shelving is very short, but nicely fits our dutch ovens and cast iron wok on display. I knew the measurements of the drawers ahead of time, so I knew Id need to configure my ziploc bags and things like tinfoil carefully, but they do in fact fit. Its nice having a junk drawer, tea drawer, and drawer for potholders and oven mitts. (I wouldnt recommend trying to use the drawers for spices as I dont think they would fit, and if they did it wouldnt fit many.) Shipping took a little over a week. The initial packages arrived with the top part damaged on the corner and a missing piece for assembly (I received two of something I only needed one of, and then zero of the piece necessary for completing the assembly), so I reached out to Wayfair customer service and they sent out the replacement pieces which took another week, but besides the inconvenience of delayed assembly it was a smooth process. All in all, Im happy with what I got for the price (380 after sale price and 15 off coupon). I wouldnt pay more than that given that none of it is real wood and assembly took me 2 hours even with an electric drill, but for the cost it looks nice in the space and functions well.. Savannah. Had to order twice. The unit is shipped in two boxes and one of the boxes didn't show up. I was told a replacement was not available. Seems like a waste of resources as I was told to discard of the box I received with the first order. We are handy people, it took about three hours to assemble. One of the drawer pilot holes were not correctly placed and we had to drill new holes. The unit comes with a generous bag of extra hardware but the one piece we needed was not included. We improvised with something we got at a local hardware store. Unit seems sturdy, not sure how the countertop will wear. Had company over today and received compliments. It is a nice style. I think the wood is airbrushed It looks nice, is real wood, and when assembled is SOLID. The top unfortunately isn’t stone, ifs plastic, I’ll need to buy a countertop wrap for it. Assembly was a pain but worth it. The drawers don’t come all the way out. I’ll need to fix the drawers with other hardware, they only come half way out, and I’ll need to buy more wood to build a pan storage like I saw on another review. This thing is great!
