It took 43 minutes to assemble. Its lightweight but sturdy. It looks like solid wood and very good quality. I appreciate how they packaged the hardware needed. You will need a screwdriver. The only downside for me was the last step of screwing in part number 8 would be easier if you apply it before putting on the top shelf. Nice cabinet that feels a little smaller than expected. It includes white wooden knobs that I switched out with others to coordinate with another furniture piece. For reference, in my photo, the baskets are 16” D x 9” W x 6” H as positioned, to give an idea of what would fit on a shelf. I notice that other furniture items specify "bright white" which is also helpful. I changed out the door handles. Wasn't thrilled with black hardware on an off white unit. I’m pleased with this purchase. It was a bit challenging to assemble on my own since I have short arms and the front and back of the unit are preinstalled. Also because the particle board in the back was a bit warped it was difficult to get the top to line up when assembling the final bolts. It’s definitely a two person job. But the solid word portion is good quality and I’m pleased the cherry color is a close match to my other furniture. If it’s delivered to your home when you are not there you’ll need a dolly to get it inside. It’s extremely heavy when all packaged together. Looks great, but assembly took 2 hours and the build quality is not great. Not a single screw was already attached on this so you need to do it ALL yourself. Lots of the parts, especially the rollers on the door, should have been attached before being shipped out in my opinion. The majority of the assembly requires a Philips head screw driver, but you are only provided with a hex key. After 2 hours of work, I was not super satisfied with how this turned out.
