It took 43 minutes to assemble. Its lightweight but sturdy. It looks like solid wood and very good quality. I appreciate how they packaged the hardware needed. You will need a screwdriver. The only downside for me was the last step of screwing in part number 8 would be easier if you apply it before putting on the top shelf. Nice cabinet that feels a little smaller than expected. It includes white wooden knobs that I switched out with others to coordinate with another furniture piece. For reference, in my photo, the baskets are 16” D x 9” W x 6” H as positioned, to give an idea of what would fit on a shelf. This TV stand is EXACTLY what we needed. We needed a tall but narrow tv stand with good storage and a soundbar. I checked everything in wayfair and this is the only stand that fits the bill and it is exactly what we needed. The stand is sturdy enough for our tv and books.
