When we received the console and was putting it together we noticed one of the doors was broken, so we decided not to send it back or put the doors on it. Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. It's a really beautiful unit but like some of the reviews have pointed out it is not easy to install. I actually used it a bit differently as i used it as a neat floating storage shelf above a desk. The problem is the hook system being not the easiest and a step back from how other models usually have wall mount furniture with longer wall hooks that make the install easier. It is definitely a 2-person job, and it took us about 6 hours. 4 hours on the first day where we totally messed up, and then 2 hours when we redid it our entire measurements and holes to finally get this bad boy done right.. We bought an 85" TV and wanted this 70.8" wide, Light Oak, floating tv console to hide cords and other small electronics inside the cabinet for a clean look. The back has a wooden panel so we used a saw and cut out an opening where our outlets are on the wall. It is very heavy, so make sure you have something to hold it up on while you drill into the studs in the wall. Installation takes a while and I would definitely recommend 2 people. Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order. Had it in hand 3 days after I ordered. Well mostly in hand … had to retrieve it from my neighbor as Fed-X failed to get it to my door. Overall pleased with the quality of the furniture.. David. I’ll update the review with new photos once the mantle is installed. The mantle is very heavy as stated, easy to put together and looks like the online photos. The title states the mantle is 82”but the one I received is about 78”. Although I didn’t see it in the online description, the instruction manual states it can only be hung on concrete and brick walls.
