The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. I bought both the 7 drawer and the 4 drawer dressers from this set and the 7 drawer dresser was much easier to assemble. The assembly for the drawer runners drove us insane a little bit, as the tracks were not labeled and the different styles were mixed together. Once completed, some of the drawers are a little stiff and don’t slide smoothly, though that could always be a slight error on our part while setting it up. The knobs are a pretty cheap quality, I may switch them out at a later date. I wish the drawers were a little deeper, this is not a big enough dresser for us who have a lot of clothes… But it fit in the small place I needed it to. Ultimately, it works good.. Sara Ellen. I really did love this purchase although it was a little annoying!!! First, I would like to say that the instructions were a little bit confusing because I prefer detailed captions along with the illustrations so it took a while to assemble this dresser so be patient with yourself. I would recommend setting all of the pieces out and reading over the booklet before assembling, otherwise the quality is great.
