The chest is fine, but be aware that it is 42” wide and 32” tall NOT 42” tall by 32” wide as specified on the website when I ordered. It had the height and width reversed. I altered the company of the website error (including sending a photo showing the dimensions of the one I got) more than a week ago, but it has not been corrected as of the date of this review. So just be sure you want a chest that is 42” wide and 34” tall before you order.. Ken. Leverett, MA. Tue Aug 11 2026

Absolutely gorgeous drawer chest. Came built already. Our only issue was with the closure of the drawers. Seems as though the metal drawer runner was bent a bit too much so it was extremely difficult to open and close the drawer. I had to unhinge each drawer and shave the rubber stopper so it would open and close smoothly. Of course now each drawer bangs at closing but oh well.. Maria. Staten Island, NY. Mon Apr 01 2024

The Asher 6 Drawer Dresser with Changing Top and Interlocking Drawers by Simmons Kids adds modern farmhouse charm to any baby nursery or kids’ bedroom. A softy textured, hand applied finish and sleek matte black metal cup handles offer an updated take on rustic design. The Asher 6 Drawer Dresser includes a removable changing top that creates the perfect space for diaper changing now and is easily detachable, so you can create a more grown-up space later. Pair this dresser with the Simmons Kids Asher 6-in-1 Convertible Crib for a coordinated look. Given the hand applied nature of this dresser’s finish, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated. For your child’s safety, this dresser is outfitted with an interlocking drawer system that limits the number of drawers that can be opened at one time. This Simmons Kids dresser is tested to meet the current requirements of ASTM F2057, the mandatory CPSC safety standard that protects young children from furniture tip-over incidents. For your children’s safety, only purchase dressers that comply with this standard. For additional security, Simmons Kids strongly recommends that all dressers in your home be anchored; all Simmons dressers include a wall anchor. To learn how to properly secure your dresser, please see the product assembly instructions or visit our website.

Beautiful, Spacious, and Very Sturdy Dresser! I’m so happy with this dresser for my toddler’s room! It’s even better than I expected. The dresser is quite tall, which gives it a beautiful presence in the room, and the drawers are surprisingly deep and wide, providing plenty of storage space for clothes, pajamas, and all of her essentials. The wood finish is beautiful and gives the room a cozy, elegant look. I also love how practical it is for everyday use while still looking stylish.
