The firepit took a few weeks to arrive, and was worth the wait. It is exactly as described and pictured. The only drawback is that the straps that secured it to the pallet rubbed the black finish off on all four sides so we will need to fix that as it is too heavy to return. This Snuffer Lid helps put out the fire in a shorter period and not only keeps outside debris from getting into your fire pit. it keeps the unburned wood dry for the next time you build a fire.
