It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. However, once everything was put together, it was completely worth it. The bed feels very sturdy, looks high-end, and paired with our mattress, it is beyond comfortable. These came in one box and they weigh a ton--I literally sprained a muscle in my leg trying to push this box 2 inches (Fedex delivered them to my front yard before a storm instead of to the porch). Be prepared for how heavy they are! That being said, they're beautiful and solid and will hold up my Artifacts tub beautifully. I warred with getting these or the pedestal base, but due to replacing a bathtub with a unique plumbing layout, the feet were the best option if I needed to have my drain assembly facing the room.
