I just got this table today. It is a very beautiful and sturdy piece, though I had expected the stone top to be a bit shinier. When it was first assembled the top almost seemed to be a bit filmy, but washing it with water seemed to help and the longer it is out in the air it seems to be taking on more of a sheen.
