I purchased two of these to put them outside in my backyard. I left them in the pot it came with and put them in larger pots with more rocks on top. Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. The leaves are not on the plant when it comes in, so you need to insert them into the stems and arrange them the way you would like. When mine came in, 2 leaves were missing.
