Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. Overall, and for the price, I’d say this desk is ideal. I live in a 700 sq ft space and needed something for my new office corner as I’d started working remotely. I was a bit surprised at the material used for the drawers—they’re made of fabric with plastic handles—but that’s on me for not reading the product description more closely. However, I did appreciate that the drawers were easy to construct in that they are actually collapsible containers. Overall construction was very easy and took maybe an hour solo. I think the only caveat I have is that the elevated platform portion made it difficult to install a C-clamp dual monitor stand. Exactly what I was looking for. Delivered in 2 parcels, yes they were heavy. 1 had some damaged spots in outer box from shipping so I took pics just in case. Well packaged so no internal damage. Experience w putting things like this together so gave myself plenty of time. Expected possible issues from other reviews but I had none, directions were easy to follow, all parts present & worked.
