Wow! This door was easy to assemble and stain. The instructions highly recommends a header board and I do too! Everything I needed to hang this door was in the kit, except for the header board and lag screws to hang it of course, but I with the help of my AI helper was able to hang this door by myself! Feeling very accomplished and it looks and glides so smoothly…a wonderful addition to our family room!. Renee. Grand Blanc, MI. Thu Oct 15 2026

This door is huge and heavy! The door looks amazing, we did use a header which I highly recommend. The pre- drilled holes are 16 inches apart, our studs were closer together. Also account for carpet flooring if you have it when mounting the rail. Overall and easy project and it looks amazing. Rachel. Elko, NV. Mon Oct 05 2026

Beautiful door. Ordered 42x80. Typical Chinese instructions but still easy to assemble. Not a single flaw or missing piece. Looks awesome. The delivery box is quite heavy; lifting the door onto the track can be done by one person-and we’re seniors who did it ourselves. Highly recommend. Susan. Westminster, SC. Fri Sep 04 2026

SMARTSTANDARD is committed to providing high-quality, customized, and durable Barn Doors to satisfy your home decoration and security needs.

This product is very solid and high quality. Only thing I didn’t like was that the satin nickel rail is 3 pieces for an 8 foot rail. Makes installation more difficult than a one or two piece rail. The other door I purchased used a black rail that was 2 pieces. Other than that the door is solid and easy to assemble but very heavy. I wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy but it is a 48 x 84 solid door so it makes sense. Love having full access to our closet now!. Neal. Billerica, MA. Tue Sep 08 2026

Crafted with natural materials, it complements any decor and becomes a stunning focal point.

The door looks great and we are very pleased! The decorative diagonal pieces were missing, but Wayfair's customer service was fantastic as always. They got those shipped to us very quickly. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to include a stain stick the color of the door, as the dowel plugs on the side were raw wood color, so we had to find a stain stick ourselves to try to match and blend in those dowels.. I am super impressed with the quality of these barn doors. The design on the front of the doors is spectacular. It definitely stands out. The black color is a subtle black so it doesn’t look harsh in the room. It blends well and the doors look more like decor. They are functionally amazing. They glide extremely smooth along the rail. I did put a header board in because they were heavier than I expected, but with a header board, they feel solid in the wall. These can be hung on a regular drywall wall or concrete. I have a concrete floor and I’m still adding flooring so I didn’t put the bottom guide in so they separate a bit right now when closed but once I get the guidance they’re gonna be perfectly lined up absolutely happy with this purchase..
