The process of receiving these was frustrating. They come fully assembled but after traveling across the country, both cabinets we ordered were very damaged. Wayfair offered us a credit but I couldn't use them, that is how damaged they were. They made us pack them back up and schedule a pickup and then they sent us 2 new cabinets which were surprisingly fine. The cabinets are beautiful but the doors are slightly off as you can see from the photos. They did have a smell that took a couple of weeks to dissipate. This is a lovely piece to compliment an empty wall space. However, there are a few things we were a little disappointed with. The instructions say it's easy to put together, and should be done in an hour. Maybe for the professionals. For my husband, and I (yes you do need 2 people to assemble), it took over two hours. The instructions are all in pictures, and no words so while it was easy to figure out what went where, we still had to double check we were using the correct amount of hardware for each piece. We assumed it was only for pieces to put together. Not the case- it's more than 4, less than 20. Also usually furniture comes with 'caps' to lay over the screws so it looks finished. There were no 'caps' included. So while the end product is quite lovely, we will be very careful if we order again since we do not want to have to put anything together. I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. It took me a long time to find a medium height cabinet for an alcove in my foyer.Im pretty happy with this. I was nervous with all the reviews that it was hard to put together and that the doors dont close. It took less than 2 hours and if your doors dont close its likely you installed them upside down (as we did the first time). My only minor complaint is the color is more yellow-toned than depicted.
