The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all.. The color and texture of this table are quite nice and exactly what I was looking for. It has a decent finish that looks great in the room. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the table is much lighter than I expected. While this makes it very easy to move around, it doesn't feel as sturdy or heavy-duty as I had hoped. More importantly, the table arrived with a few visible scratches right out of the box. This is a solid piece of furniture that looks good in my dining room. I must say the tone of the furniture is more muted and less of a shine than what is shown on website. The three boxes the table parts came in were all delivered together and in good condition. Assembly was rather easy and all the parts were included.
