Table arrived with a 1/4" chunk chipped off the top. The table is VERY heavy, so it was not worth the hassle of repackaging to return. Other than the big noticeable chip that is missing on the top edge of the table, it is very attractive, heavy duty, folds out easily and overall, a very nice table. Since I am using the table in my basement as a place to fold clothes next to the dryer, the chip isn't a deal breaker. it's just that when you purchase something new, it's always disappointing to receive something damaged. The chairs from my old set are bulky yet all six fit around this table easily. Only negatives, and not worth subtracting stars for, are tedious assembly and the lack of any protective material on the bottom of the legs. Not a deal breaker for me because I have it sitting on a rug. Assembly instructions are straightforward, just tedious.
