As a busy parent and pet owner, I was worried about my toddler crawling onto the stairs or my puppy darting through doorways. This pressure-mounted gate solved it all! Made of thick steel with 2-inch spacing, it securely blocks pets—tested to hold 180 lbs. The 180° two-way door opens automatically: under 90°, it swings shut; at 90°, it stays open. I can easily carry groceries and open it one-handed. The door width is adjustable, ranging from 29 to 109 inches, suitable for every different opening where you need a door sill. The double-lock keeps kids safe but lets adults open quickly. Best part? No drilling—I installed it without damaging walls.

Good prices for quality furniture but the return process is hit and miss. Something I sent back without any issue. I got to pick the day I wanted it returned but another item I had to call in and argue about it. The fan was defective and I had to argue to get a full replacement. The pickup day for the old one just got scheduled for me and it was in the middle of when I was moving. Very inconvenient.. Robyn. Las Vegas, NV. Fri Oct 16 2026

Is your furry four-legged friend causing chaos around the house while you’re out? Keep them confined to one room with this must-have pet gate! Crafted from manufactured wood, it features four panels with hinges so it can easily fold up for a simple storage solution when not in use. Plus, it has two support legs so it can stand freely without damaging your walls. And with neutral coloring, it won’t clash with your current color palette.

Attractive and Durable, but Needs Securing I've used this gate since December 2023, and it has held up well. It's attractive, heavy, and true to size, and I really appreciate the height. The included support feet are a nice option, although I don't use them. My main complaint is that my dogs can push the gate to the side unless I secure it with carabiners. With that workaround, it serves its purpose. Overall, I'm happy with its appearance and durability, and I prefer it to a typical utilitarian-looking pet gate.. Sims Family Reviews. Kansas. Cat Gate for Doorway, Auto Close Pet Gate with Extension Kits, No Drilling Pressure Mounted Dog Gate for Stairs, Doorways, Kitchen, Hallway

Originally we purchased this 51 tall gate to keep 3 curious cats away from 2, 25lb foster boston terriers. Our smallest cats tries, but cant squeeze through the 1 12 spaces between the bars and the wall. Turns out one of the dogs can jump that high and touch the top of the gate. Thankfully, we keep the dogs contained in a room with a lower floor, adding 8. Lesson-Make sure to get the best height. Only complaint is there is no leverlatch at the bottom to keep the gate swinging in just one direction, like other gates we have. We fear a strong enough pup can ram the bottom open without that latch.. Melanie. PA. Thu Oct 15 2026

The Cardinal Gates Step Over Pet Gate is the perfect solution for small pet containment. This freestanding gate has bar spacing's of 2.25” and is designed for small breeds, non-jumpers, and puppies. At 20" tall, this gate is the perfect height for you to step over, yet keeps your pet contained. It is adjustable and able to close off openings from 28" to 51.75”. Multiple 22” extension panels can be added to increase the maximum width of this gate (model SGX, sold separately). It features solid wood construction and is easy to set up with minimal assembly necessary. The included rubber-bottomed feet protect your floors while adding stability. This gate is intended for indoor use only and all necessary assembly hardware is included in the box, no wall mounting necessary. Available in Natural, Walnut, and White.

READ ME! I was a little stumped by the assembly of this gate, but once I figured it out (with NO help to the included instructions or video), I really do like it. Upon receipt when you unscrew the two main pieces of the gate, keep an eye out for 4 small square nuts that may fall out of the grooves. After you determine the size needed, these nuts are essential to hold the two gate pieces together. The video and instructions make it seem like you just simply fasten the screws into the grooves on top and bottom. Well, you do, but if you screw only into the grooves - without the square nuts - there is nothing to catch the screws, and thus, you will be unsuccessful. If you are luckier than me, and your nuts don't fall out of the grooves and go missing for a few days, you need to know that the nuts can be moved back and forth inside the grooves depending on the size you want. Use these nuts to secure your screws, and you'll be golden! I have two small dogs (up to 9 pounds each), and I chose this gate because it is adjustable to any size you wish, and it has feet (rather than needing to be secured to a wall). The feet can be placed along the bottom at any desired location (or you can opt not to use them at all). I chose to screw them in the bottom (but you don't need to) because it gave my gate added stability, and seeing how I plan to move the gate to other locations, this way I don't have to worry about the legs falling off during the moves. The feet have rubber pads at the bottom which help them stay in place on the hard floor. If you're looking for a gate where you wish to increase/decrease the size often to let dogs through, this isn't the gate for you as that would be a bit cumbersome with screwing/unscrewing; however, if you want a gate that sits at a certain size and can be stepped over or easily moved, this is perfect! I am 5'4" and can easily step over the gate, but my small dogs cannot get over/through it. I hope this review helps!. Theresa. Sun Prairie, WI. Fri Dec 06 2019

This one-piece pet gate features a height that extends from 47.2" to 87" (120 cm to 221 cm). Width Adjustment: Small: 27.5" – 31.5" / Large: 27.5" – 37". It effectively prevents cats and large dogs from jumping over while maintaining ventilation. The gate height is easily adjusted via a pull-out mechanism, making installation quicker and more convenient. It is securely fixed with four support points at the top and bottom, ensuring a sturdy and wobble-free setup. The double-lock latch design eliminates worries about clever cats opening the gate. It is suitable for multiple scenarios such as balconies, passages, staircases, and doorways.

It works as intended. Difficult to put together and secure in place. I have been using for over a month without any issues. Keeps my cat separated with visibility allowing me to feed them close to each other.. Elise. FL. Wed Oct 21 2026

This 36-inch extra tall baby gate is designed for toddler safety and pet separation. With an adjustable width and a small pet door, it provides easy access for cats while keeping larger pets secure. Perfect for doorways, stairs, and hallways, this gate combines safety and convenience in a sleek, compact design.

This gate is PERFECT! It's tall enough to keep the dogs out of the cat area, but just short enough we can still close the door to the room (lever door knob). The adjustable cat door is great and I love that it raises up and down rather than swinging out. I love that this gate door swings both ways since our cat box and food are in our mudroom, which gets used frequently. Installation took all of 5 minutes and I love that both expanders were included, so we could get the perfect fit. The lever is also easy to use. You squeeze the top and bottom buttons and lift a bit. 10/10 highly recommend!. Dustin. Rockfield, KY. Fri Jun 26 2026
