This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. After I tightened those screws, everything worked well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I really enjoy walking in the room and seeing this new dresser.. Gabriel. Texas. This dresser fits the bill for what we needed. I will admit that it took me the better part of two days to construct it. There are very few words in the instruction manual. It was a fun puzzle. There were 278 instances of screwing a connection. I did more than that because at a couple of points I had constructed parts of it incorrectly based upon the non-instructions so had to disassemble and re-assemble. Some parts of this cabinet are solid wood but most are composite wood which doesn’t do well with re-worked screw holes. A few broken off toothpicks and a little wood glue fixed these instances! The top suggestion that should have been in the instructions is: Do not over tighten screws in the composite board! It strips the screw holes and makes a wobbly connection. I learned it through experience pretty quickly, but spent an hour or so strengthening those connections after I had made this mistake. I know the instructions say construction of this chest should be by two adults, but that would never have worked with me and my husband. He has different gifts. This chest of drawers requires a love of puzzles, patience and the desire to learn new skills. I actually loved building it and the result is solid, fully functional and attractive.. Cheryl. I absolutely love this dresser! It fits perfectly in my odd shaped spare bedroom! It does have small drawers like others have mentioned, but I knew the dimensions when I purchased. Its a great dresser for a spare room, or maybe a nursery! Im really pleased with the final product! It looks great (drawers are all aligned, and open close nicely)! It feels sturdy and solid. The assembly was time consuming and tedious, but overall pretty straight forward! As you can see in one of the photos, theres a LOT of pieces to put together! It was packaged well everything was labeled nicely. The instructions were easy to follow. I put it together by myself (60 yr old woman) with no problems, though Ive assembled a lot of furniture, which probably helped! Ordered this dresser to for our walk in closet. Had a tough time finding this exact size, but added it to our cart during the Black Friday in July sale and are pleased we did! The delivery was quick, packaging was intact, very heavy box, lots of parts. A power drill and Phillips head screwdriver are the only tools required. My husband and I were skeptical about it taking only 2 hours to assemble and we were right. From unpacking, to reviewing the instructions, to assembling it took two of us a little under 4 hours. But we are pleased with the results. It is pretty solid considering the plywood veneer base. The drawers are a good size and slide open about 10” (which is a bonus). I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues.
