Wowzers, this was a really hard ceiling fan to install! I ended up calling an electrician to finish installing it, but they didn’t have any trouble. The remote control box was the hardest part! But for the fan itself, it is beautiful! You have to hang all the crystals on the bottom but that was easy and kind of fun and my daughter helped. The blades are clear plastic and when the fan is off it just looks like a gorgeous chandelier. The fan is silent, even on high. This is our first retractable type ceiling fan, and we’re pleasantly surprised. Now I want to replace all the traditional fans in our home! At first I thought I was missing items. Make sure you look through all your boxes. For example the round crystals could be mixed with rectangular ones.
