Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. Alocasia, also known as elephant’s ear, has large, beautifully patterned leaves. This product is made of high-quality plastic and requires little maintenance (occasional dusting with a dry rag). The timeless appearance and high quality of this artificial Alocasia plant will last for years.

I really love how realistic it looks from the trunk to the facial aspect of leaves. The height and thickness make it look amazing (tall planter not included). My only complaints are that attachment entries for each leaf are too obvious from behind (picture included); delivery took a while; and it didn’t come with instructions.
