I've seen these newer afwalls being used hundreds of times since being introduced in 2008, and they have been nothing but really reliable and sensory-friendly for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately, there's a vocal group of haters on the internet who do not like this generation of afwall, but pay them no mind. The bowl of this toilet is deep enough compared to the older model that felt too shallow, like I was sitting on a clogged toilet. The new model, also, avoids siphoning out unnecessarily when you flush it, unlike the previous model that can do so unexpectedly and unnerve some people. Really nice toilet. High quality at a good price. Good flushing power with this 1.6 GPM model. Packaging was sufficient to protect during shipment. Came in two parts, tank assembly and toilet bowl. Assembly instructions were descriptive and straight forward, installation took me about 90 minutes from start to finish after old toilet had been first removed. The tank parts came preassembled with valve, float and handle so nothing tricky during installation. Note that the two flange mounting bolts for the toilet bowl are quite long so you'll need a hack saw or power tool to cut them down to enable installing the plastic caps. I never thought Id say this, but, this toilet is a work of art. I love this thing. Unfortunately it cant go in the bathroom yet as Im getting it painted in June, then Ill trade out the toilets so I wont have that I cant reach this spot behind the toilet on the wall.
