The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. I really like this solid wood bed frame. It looks beautiful and feels sturdy and well made. The wood color is warm and matches my room perfectly. The bed frame is stable and does not make much noise when moving. The wooden slats provide good support for the mattress. The headboard and footboard have been newly upgraded.The headboard is raised by 3.7 inches, offering better support when sitting up in bed.

It is a very pretty and sturdy bedframe. I took a star off because they were not pre-drilled holes for some screws and that was unclear in the directions. It took me one hour and and and 45 minutes to put it together as one person. Also two of the side pieces were the same so I had to unscrew the brackets and switch them so they would become opposite side frames.
