The pump and light are easy to assemble. This took me more time to unbox than it did to set up. It was packaged in a large box with ample hard foam padding all four sides. The sound of the water is loud enough to hear over a noise AC unit but not so loud that it is distracting. I wired the lights into my existing low voltage patio lights for convenience as it comes with separate cords for the pump and lights. I figured it out but had to look up a couple of the electrical terms before plugging it in. If you use it inside, be aware that the water sometimes splashes out a little as it cascades. The fountain was packaged very well! No dents or discoloration. Easy to assemble. It’s lightweight. The sound is calming. I did place pump on the sponge to avoid any humming noise. I added my own rocks. The LED lights are a bit bright for my liking. The bottom light isn’t one bulb, it’s a circle of little lights which you can see reflected at night.
