To measure your size correctly, remove the existing vent cover and measure the size of the duct. The duct opening size is what should be ordered. The Ribbon grille is a resin (polyurethane) decorative vent cover that is light in weight yet sturdy and strong. Grilles are unfinished and ready for you to primer and paint to achieve the perfect color for your setting. Each grille is made using a casting process that allows for a three-dimensional look. Grilles will not rust and are not prone to corrosion which makes them excellent for high-humidity areas and dry areas alike. Ribbon grilles are flat on the back and have no inserts. Imperial "Pop-Up" floor register can be used as a conventional floor register or as an air deflector when open. Perfect to blow air from under a couch or out away from the wall. Made of polystyrene plastic these registers can be easily cleaned and will never rust. These items can be used in the ceiling by simply by putting screws through the "knockout" at each end. Be sure when sizing your registers you measure the hole they are going into. These come in 2 sizes 4 x 10 hole size (5.25 x 11.25 overall) or 4 x 12 hole size (5.25 x 13.25 overall).

The Lambro® Plastic Flush-Mount Round Vent has a Friction-Fit Collar. Its low-profile design blends well when installed. The vent is for new and replacement installations. The vent features a collar having 2 sides with ribs to secure the vent without the need for screws. You cut a round hole in the diameter of the vent collar and push the vent into the hole to complete the installation. Please be sure to check local building codes before installation.

My reason for only rating it 4 stars is that it was missing the vent mounting clips and instructions when it arrived. While Wayfair sent the clips several days later, I feel it never should have been sent without them. Made by Imperial these baseboard grills are full steel with a gloss white powder coat that will resist scuffs. The 7/8" turnback insures these baseboard grills come out from the wall almost a full inch so they look great next to all baseboard styles. Each grill is 1 - 1/4" larger then the hole dimension for a perfect fit.
