My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. I contacted customer service to report the issue, and while they offered a 20 discount, I asked for a bit more since I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it, buying another one, and waiting again for shipping. They asked me to wait 24 hours for a response, so I’m still hoping for a better resolution. This is actually my third recent order with problems, which is very frustrating. I’ve been a Wayfair customer for years and never had this many issues before. Really disappointed with this experience. I received an email from Wayfair saying they are going to credit back to my original payment method, which I appreciate. I am so used to the traditional box spring but was intrigued when I needed to replace one that these "assemble yourself" type of foundation is all I could find online. Truth be told, I was skeptical but hopeful and now a bit impressed. Assembling with the tools that are included was not the easiest and, as usual the instructions were lacking. I ended up setting the corners incorrectly so I had to redo most of it. The end product seems pretty sturdy and works well with the hybrid mattress.
