I read the other reviews and did the same for the bottom bought a piece a plywood to hold it steady and keep off the grass. I will install rainproof tape inside the roof area just to keep it safer and sealed. I like it. I bought it for my son he was paying or should I say I was paying $270 for storage. This was worth the money.. Diana. Bell Gardens, CA. Thu Oct 08 2026

It was easier to assemble than I thought it would be from the reviews. It is sturdy comparable to ny Rubbermade same size. My only complain is that we opened the bottom box wfirst and assembled with th eroof before we realized the top did not bolt to the roof and needed the original roof for on the top. I sort of thought although it did not come with shelves that the roof on bottom was a sort of dividing shelf I was wrong.. Mary Darcy. US. Sun Oct 11 2026

The shed was just what we needed. The assembly however was put off six different times as the installation people cancelled on every opportunity. This was very disturbing as the installation would be scheduled, adjustments would be made to be there then it would be cancelled.... this happened SIX different times.. Peter. Olmsted Falls, OH. Use narrow outdoor areas efficiently with the DuraMax SideMate Plus 4 ft. x 8 ft. Vinyl Lean-To Storage Shed. The reversible door helps adapt access to your layout, reinforced framing adds support, and the included foundation helps create a stable installation.

This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. That way, we're not worried about it blowing over with heavy winds. [I was incentivized by Wayfair with a monetary reward in exchange for a review]. Diana. San Jose, CA. Thu Apr 23 2026

Great for the price. Read everything carefully but it is easy to assemble. Would recommend. Carolyn. MO. Sun Oct 04 2026
