The swing from Almont Co arrived in 2 boxes ready to be put together. The directions were simple but a little confusing. I also used my own tools to assemble it. It took about 2 hours and it looked good but it would look nicer if the bolts and chain were a brown or bronze. The bare steel really stands out. Overall it’s a nice comfortable swing. This is a nice looking swing, and the cushions and seating are comfortable. It’s a bit too high for short people. I’m 5 ft and my feet don’t reach the ground, and my husband who’s 5’4” just can touch. Also, the side table extension part is plastic, and I’m not sure it will last as long as the swing. The way Wayfair and Purple Leaf has handled delivered broken pieces is also incredibly frustrating. I paid for the Wayfair professional assembly and that didn’t go well, either. Firstly, I love this swing! It has cup holders on each side and can fold flat into a bedhammock. It’s very comfortable. The setup took about an hour and some tools were included but I opted to use my own. It came with a nice comfy cushion as well. The instructions were very easy to follow except for one small part but i figured it out. Very easy to put together and now i can enjoy my coffee on my porch swing like nature intended! Absolutely love our new swing. It is exactly what we were looking for! We had a few issues with some pieces but they were easily and quickly replaced. On old reviews buyers commented the difficulty putting together or that things didn't line up. We had no issued at all but realized quickly that it is very important not to tighten the bolts until it is all put together (unlike what the video says to tighten them).
