I used this as picture frame moulding in a bedroom makeover. It was easy to paint. I used a miter saw to cut it and did have some edges that frayed a bit. Sanding helped. I had the R10000-UNBXHF valve body (in conjuction with the T17038-SS Lahara 17 series valve trim) installed 16 months ago and the shower head is now dripping when the valve is turned fully in the off position.
