Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! Cutting a piece of rubber is similar to cutting through lumber not easy. Also, the 12-in. pieces allow for more design options such as right angles and tighter curves/circles. The 12-inch. pieces interlock together easily. No digging is involved simply anchors in the provided anchor nails for long-term stability. Easier to create curves/angles than 4 ft. options. Smaller pieces virtually eliminate the need for cutting. 4 ft. rubber is very difficult to cut to length, 12 in. option works wonders 24 nails are included with the order. No digging involved.
