When every detail needs to be perfect for your traditional bath, the Symmons Braston Collection adds the final, classic touches. This Braston shower system features a 4 inch multifunction showerhead and a 4 inch hand shower wand, both utilizing HydroMersion technology to channel water for increased pressure and force. You can easily adjust between the showerhead and hand shower with the VersaFlex Integral Diverter handle. The showerhead offers multiple modes, including full, massage, waterfall, spa, and pause, while the hand shower wand provides a total spray and push button pause mode for a non positive shutoff. Equipped with EverFlow rubber spray nozzles, both the showerhead and wand are non corrosive and easy to clean. The shower system includes a 30 inch hand shower slide bar with a 60 inch flexible metal hose and has a low flow rate of 1.5 GPM (5.7 L/min).

(The only reason for a 4-star rating is due to the plastic hose and handwand. All other aspects are a strong 5-star!) The handheld shower unit came with a plastic hose, which I immediately replaced. I am sure the plastic one would have worked well, but the metal replacement looks much better and will last longer. Update on previous review: We have enjoyed this shower system for 3 months and it has been amazing! The water pressure and flow is excellent - much better than expected. The upper head has 2 settings: rain and typical spray. The rain setting is very soothing and soft. The typical spray setting provides a lot of water at great pressure. As noted above I replaced the plastic hose with stainless steel hose. That has worked well. In addition, I actually replaced the hand wand with a Moen unit and prefer it over the one that came standard. (The Moen unit has additional spray settings that the standard unit lacked) The controls on the system are excellent, allowing temperature control on one stalk and water distribution on the other. I really like the ability to set temperature independent of the "on/off" valve. I also love the surface mounted aspect of the system. Not only is it attactive, but this design will make servicing it much easier should an issue arise. Our plumbers commented on the quality of the unit and how easy it was to install.
