Simply twist the leg to unlock it, fold it down, and twist in the opposite direction to lock it back into place. This table assembles in a snap with just a few screws. The table is constructed of a thermal fused melamine laminate tabletop that is 1 inch thick and finished with a black T-Mold edge band. The tabletop is double-sided, simply pick the side you like and install the base on the other. Self-tapping wood screws and a placement template are included. Laminates are scratch, stain, and scald resistant and wipe clean easily. A sleek alternative to pedestal-style bases, this set of post legs comes in a classic black or chrome to match any decor. One thing to note, and it doesn’t bother me but it could bother others, even after the table is assembled and all hardware is tightened the tabletop still has a little bit of looseness. The solid cast iron round base has leveling glides to prevent the table from wobbling on uneven floors. The steel has a 3" diameter and is made of 16 gauge steel. Table is 29" in Height. The top and base are all shipped in one box. Easy to assemble. Tops are hand-made and stained in the USA.
