We are used to cooking with stainless cookware and the only usable burner for cooking on lower heat is the simmer burner. The others are just too intense. The grates are really heavy duty. Pro500SS - we recently installed this hood ourselves and was ab easy install. The instructions were easy to follow. We are very satisfied with this hood. The exhaust is really good, easy to use contol panel and we like how it looks in our kitchen. We previously had a microwave hood combo and was not good. This model has 4 strength settings and can be controlled by a wave of the hand and by bluetooth. Its easy to clean. We definitely would recommend this product to family and friends.. Tolentog.
