We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! The drain on this model is close to the wall of the sink and it comes with basket strainer and drain cover to help protect from blockage and other items falling into the drain. The bottom of the sinks are adopted scientific X-shaped diversion design which make it fastly, effectively drain off water and keep it cleaning and drying. It also comes with a protective stainless steel bottom grid to safeguard the surface of your sink. The outer side of the sink's bottom is not only covered with sound dampening pads (asphalt), but also sprayed with damp-proof paint coating to achieve the effect of noise reduction and moisture absorption, making the sink quieter to use and reducing condensation at the bottom of the sink.
